How we treat your personal data

In brief

Yomicon runs yomicon.world, a website about meal plans cooked and delivered in Mumbai. We want this policy to be readable in a few minutes. In the current version of the site, neither the contact form nor the plan builder on the plan pages transmits or stores what you type: your browser checks the fields and then opens a thank-you page that contains none of your data. Only messages you send by email reach us.

In the current version, none of these fields is transmitted to us or stored anywhere: the check happens in your browser only. We never ask for health data. Please name only ingredients in the notes and do not write diagnoses, test results or medicine names, in the forms or in emails.

Why we use data and on what basis

We use personal data only with your consent, which you give by writing to us or ticking the consent box, and only for these purposes:

• answering questions you send by email or phone;
• discussing and confirming a meal plan you ask about;
• keeping the website running safely (server logs kept by our hosting provider).

You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@yomicon.world. Withdrawal does not affect what was done before it.

How long data is kept

Who else may see data

We do not sell or rent personal data. Two services are involved whenever you open the site. Our hosting provider stores the files and records technical server logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser). Google Fonts, run by Google LLC, delivers the typefaces Bricolage Grotesque, Figtree; your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.

Google may process this information outside India, including in the United States. Any such transfer happens under the provider's own safeguards and within what Indian law permits.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising pixels, local storage or scripts. Details are in our cookie policy.

Your rights

As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, 2023, you may:

1. ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
2. ask us to correct, complete or update it;
3. ask us to erase it when it is no longer needed or you withdraw consent;
4. use our grievance redressal by writing to info@yomicon.world;
5. nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

We answer requests within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security and minors

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and email is kept in an account protected by access controls. No method is perfectly secure, so please do not send more than your question needs.

The site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly process data of children; if you believe a child has written to us, tell us and we will delete the message.

Changes to this policy

If the site starts to send form data, or anything else here changes, we will update this page and the date below before the change takes effect.
