How it works

From our counter to your door

Here is what happens after you choose a plan: which days the box comes, how one measured meal fits into a whole day of eating, and the questions people ask us most often.

Which days your box comes

On each plan page you pick one of three delivery patterns. A plan day is a day you receive a meal, so a 7-day plan on weekdays simply runs a little longer on the calendar than a 7-day plan delivered every day. The pattern never changes the price.

One meal in a full day

What a measured meal can and cannot do

People often choose a calorie-labelled plan because they want to keep an eye on portions or manage their weight. That is a reasonable starting point — as long as the expectations stay realistic.

Notes for a plan day

  1. The plan covers one meal; breakfast, tea, snacks and the other meals are still yours.
  2. The calorie range helps you see roughly what one meal adds to your day — nothing more.
  3. How your weight and energy change depends on the whole day, sleep, movement and your own body.
  4. Responses vary between people; there is no fixed result to expect in 7 or 30 days.
  5. Water, fruit, vegetables and regular activity sit well alongside any portion size.
  6. If you want a target for your own calories, ask a registered dietitian or your doctor.

Questions

Answers before you order

The short answers to what people ask us most. Anything else — just write to us.

Can a meal plan replace treatment or medication?

No. Our plans are everyday food with a stated calorie range. They do not treat diabetes, thyroid problems, high blood pressure or any other condition, and they never replace medicine or advice from your doctor.

Will I lose weight on a plan?

We cannot promise that. One measured meal makes part of your day more predictable, but weight depends on everything you eat, how you move, sleep and your own body. Results differ from person to person.

What if a meal causes discomfort?

Stop eating that dish and tell us which one it was, so we can look at the ingredients with you. If discomfort continues or feels severe, see a doctor; for swelling or trouble breathing, call 112 at once.

When should I see a specialist instead?

If you have a medical condition, take regular medicine, are pregnant, have noticed weight loss you cannot explain, or have struggled with eating in the past, speak to a doctor or registered dietitian before changing how you eat.

Does my food preference change the price?

No. Vegetarian, Eggetarian and Non-Vegetarian cost the same. Only the plan length — 7 or 30 days — changes the total.

Can I choose more than one meal a day?

Each plan is one meal a day: breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner. If you would like two different slots, write to us and we will explain the options.

How do I tell you about an allergy?

Use the "Allergies or anything we should know" box on the plan page, or write to us. Name the ingredient only — no medical details are needed.

Which parts of Mumbai do you deliver to?

Our kitchen is in Andheri West and works for Mumbai. Routes can change, so mention your area when you write and we will confirm.

Can I pause or change my plan?

Write to us as early as you can and tell us what you would like to change. We will tell you what is possible for your remaining plan days.

A note on food and health

Yomicon prepares everyday meals with a stated calorie range, and the texts on this site are general information about balanced eating and portion awareness. We describe what is in a box, how plans are delivered and what you can choose. Our meals do not diagnose, treat or replace care for diabetes, thyroid conditions, kidney disease, eating disorders or any other condition. Weight, energy and wellbeing depend on many things, and no meal plan can promise a particular result. If you have a health condition, take medication, are pregnant or notice changes that worry you, talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian first.
